The Happy Family
Welcome to the world, Henry!!! We are so happy to have you here!
-Emily
He's HERE!!!!
7 pounds and 9 ounces! He was born at 1:57. Mom and baby are doing great!
And yes....he has the forehead!! And Beau says he has Alle's lips.
We haven't gotten to see Henry yet, but we should get to see him soon.
This has been such a wonderful experience and I am truly thankful to have been able to be here!! Everyone is here: both sets of Beau's grandparents, Beau's aunt Brenda, the Kanefts, the Noes, me and Collin! Alle did great and we are all so proud of her.
We've also been able to share in the joy of the birth of a granddaughter to a wonderful couple we met in the waiting room. They had been here since nine last night. His daughter, Olivia Kathleen, was born about an hour before Henry. The granddad treated all of us in the waiting room to bubble gum cigars! Who knows! Maybe a future wedding date for Henry and Olivia??
I don't know when I'll get to go back there. Mrs. Noe and Mrs. Kaneft are in there now. Hopefully I can see the newest Kaneft soon! I will try to get some pictures and post them.
-Emily
He's on his way!!!
She is fully dialated and ready to push! Beau predicted 1:00 and as the Days of Our Lives opening credits are rolling, we are all enjoying Rush's and watching TV.
Collin, Mrs. Noe, and I all got to stick our heads in the room quickly. We had to run down the hall to get there in time. They were literally putting her legs up and getting ready to go! This is great! I can't wait to get some pictures!
I'll post more when I know!!!!!!
Come on Henry!

Update
Alle's having a lot of pain on her right side. Her contractions are huge and off the chart and she isn't able to sleep anymore. They are about a minute apart, based on my unprofessional knowledge from what Natalie, the sweet nurse, showed me.
Collin just walked in the room so the whole Noe fam is here now.
The doctor is on his way in to try and redo the epidural. I'll have to leave when he comes in to check her and do the epidural but then I'll try to update again.
Things are moving right along. Keep everyone in your thoughts!

Update
But not really much of one...I promise to keep you all posted on everything, and so Alle can have this when she gets out of here!
Everyone is napping now. I'm in here with Alle and Beau and both are resting. That epidural must be beautiful because it's amazing to watch the contractions she is sleeping through. It is so peaceful in here with Henry's little heart beat in the background....that and Sports Center that Beau has on.
The next check up from the doctor should be around 11 am, but I will post regularly before that.
I'm heading back out to the waiting room to take Mrs. Kaneft up on her offer of that Boberry biscuit!
Wow, she just had a HUGE contraction. And is sleeping peacefully. This is very cool. I am thankful to be able to be here while this is all going on.

The Big Day Is Here!
I'm blogging for Alle while we anxiously await the arrival of Henry!!!!! Currently, we are at the hosptial and they have just broken her water and started the epidural and ptossin. I got here around 7:45 and they were just giving finishing up these things.
She checked in last night around 6 and was one cm. dialted.
Currently she is three cm dialated and doing much better (and nicer!!) since the epidural. She just had a huge contraction and didn't even know. We are guessing that they are around three minutes apart.
Excuse any mispellings! I'm typing quick! I'll keep posting.

Our latest news!
Our latest proflie picture of Baby Henry. He looks very warm and content!

I went to the doctor on Thursday and it was definitely more eventful than the past few visits. According to my stomach measurement, I am 36 weeks pregnant....well....THAT IS NOT THE CASE! I know those measurements are just an estimate anyways, but it worried my doctor enough to send me to have an ultrasound. Fortunately the ultrasound looked good and Henry is estimated to weigh in at 7 lbs 8 ounces yesterday. So, needless to say, we will have a nice big baby boy.
In my ultrasound, the tech tested my umbilical fluids and found they were a little lower than they should be. I have also not dialated a single bit, so, my doctor feels like it would be better for both me and Henry if we induced labor on Tuesday. Since I am not dialated at all, I will go in on Monday night and take some medicine to open my cervix. Then on Tuesday morning I will get the ptossin which should start my contractions. So, unless I do not go into labor on my own this weekend, that is the plan. We are taking Beau's computer with us to the hospital, so if we can post pictures on Wednesday of Henry we will. Please keep us in your prayers. We are all really excited, but also a little nervous!

11 Days and Counting!

Collin and cousin Austin
This weekend was my cousin Braeden's wedding. My dad's family all came into town to help celebrate. We all had a great visit and Henry is still hanging out without much change. Here are some pictures of the festivities.

Doctor Update
So I went to the doctor today, as I have been doing every week, and not much has changed from my last visit. Just to keep everyone in the loop who is out of town, I am not dialated at all, but 80% effaced. I am not sure what effaced means, but she said that was good, so I am happy! I don't go back until next Thursday, so I will let you know how that goes next week. The countdown is on!

Our 20 Week Ultrasound

Here is little Henry. I have no idea what all of the "stuff" is in the background, but he has a sweet face!
Ok, I have given in to the pressure and decided to start a blog/journal of the life and times of our first child. Right now I will be the author, but please look out for Beau because I know he is going to want to add little details.
Right now I am exactly 2 weeks and 2 days away from my due date, which is April 2nd. I am feeling huge and getting more and more uncomfortable. There are so many little things that you never know about pregnancy until you are pregnant. That may be because everyone's pregnancy is different, or people don't tell you what happens to you so YOU will get pregnant. Who knows. I will not post all of these delightful things, but if you want to know, I am happy to share.
Beau and I are really excited about welcoming a sweet baby into our lives, but we are both a little worried about how little sleep we are going to be getting. Unfortunately we were both awful babies and cried all of the time. According to my parents, I cried all night long all the time and Beau did not stop crying until he could run. He went straight from sitting to walking at 10 months....there was no crawling. As soon as he started walking, he stopped crying. Wow, 10 months is a lot of crying. I am pretty sure my parents had it very similar. Just pray that Sweet Henry is a good sleeper because we both love our sleep!
I don't know how often I will be updating, but I am going to try to do it often, especially for all of my out of town family and friends. I am posting my first picture, which is from my 20 week ultrasound. It was our 4-D ultrasound that really shows Henry's face. Since I am almost 38 weeks pregnant, he may look completely different now, but this is what we are thinking he will look like.
