Henry is already 3 months old!

This picture is for my Texas family! Go Longhorns!

Look at my bulging biceps!

Henry still has very blue eyes....like his mom!

I love this picture!

I can't believe our sweet boy is already 3 months old. He is changing and growing at a rapid pace and is really noticing the world around him. He is laughing and smiling constantly now and really enjoying everyone. We have had a very busy summer thus far and he is just going with the flow. He still has a few fussy spells, but that is normal for a 3 month old who can't talk....right?
As of right now, he LOVES his play mat. He will lie on his back and talk and coo at the animals for 20 minutes or more. It is wonderful for him and me because it is hard to entertain a baby all day. I have also been putting him in an exersaucer and he loves that too. He will sit in it for about 15 minutes and then he is ready to be out!
Yesterday, the day he actually turned 3 months, he rolled over from his belly to his back twice. I was so excited because we have been working on rolling over for a while. I put him on his belly today and he did it again. Pretty soon he is going to be walking!
Henry and I are headed out of town again on Sunday for a week, but I will try to post pictures on my dads computer as the week progresses. Hope everyone has a great Fourth of July!

Henry's 12 week photo shoot

My precious son and his 12 week photo shoot at Portrait Innovations. This is his serious look, it is adorable!

I did not realize there was a cloud background when he was taking the picture, however, I think this picture is adorable and I may submit it to a Charmin commercial!

This shot I had taken for Beau and my Grandfather for Fathers Day....the big hunter, Henry. I think he resembles Tarzan!

I love these two pictures...the one above and below. He is so happy and smiles all the time. I can't get over how well the photographer did getting him to smile!
Henry is growing like a weed! We weighed him at my parents house and I am pretty sure he is close to 13 pounds! He is progressing beautifully. He is laughing all of the time now and it is hilarious. When he wakes up from his naps now he is usually smiling at you which is priceless. He has also continued reaching for objects in front of him and has really enjoyed a play mat on the floor with hanging animals. I have been putting him in his exersaucer while supervising him and he sits in it for about 15 minutes and plays with everything.
Other than that, not much has changed since last week. He did sleep through the night twice last week, but has not since. However, instead of waking up at 3, he has been making it to 4 which is progress. I will definitely let you know when he has slept through the night for 3 nights in a row. That is supposed to be the key!

To the Beach!

Henry, Beau and I went to the beach last week with Beau's family and had a blast! Henry was a hit with everyone and I was given tons of help with him, which was a blessing. We actually got 4 nights of solid sleep because Beau's parents were sweet enough to do the nightly feedings. After working last week, I was totally burnt out and completely exhausted, so I really appreciated it!

Henry loved being with everyone. He is really laughing and cooing more and more. He has also started grabbing for objects in front of him which is awesome! Beau's parents bought a bouncy seat with little animals hanging down, and Henry loves to sit in it. He stares at the animals, reaches for them and talks to them. It is hilarious!

He is growing so fast and I know he has to be over 12 pounds now. We are still getting up once a night, and he is still sleeping in a cradle in our room, but hopefully during this next month we will get some more sleep. His belly is doing great, no complaints from him and we have not seen any green poop in a while.

Here are some pictures of Henry at the beach with everyone.

Henry smiling at Pappaw and Nannaw.

Henry's second cousins...Caroline, Artum, Vera Grace and Henry. They all took great care of him at the beach. I miss that help!

We took Henry to put his feet in the ocean when the sun went down. He had no clue what was going on. He did not seem to like it much.

Sandy Toes

He kept lifting his feet up...I guess to keep them from getting wet.

"What in the world???"
Even though his feet are barely touching, he was still concerned.

He did this a lot!

This is Henry after a day at the beach....pooped!

Happy Henry

Talking nonstop!

Hello! How do you like my hat?

9/10 week update

We have had a very busy week this week because I went back to work (for just this week). Wow, I give working moms a lot of credit. This is hard work! I am completely exhausted and never get to see my family.
We are headed to the beach tomorrow for some r&r, so I may not blog until I get back. However, I wanted to post some of Henry's 9 week photos. He is growing so fast, laughing more and more and loves to be held facing outward. If someone dares to hold him face to face, Henry gets very upset. He likes to know what is going on at all times! I don't blame him. He is still waking up 1-2 times a night and that was really hard on us this week with me being back at work. Other than that our little boy is just growing like a weed. We are loving his little personality and he makes us laugh daily! Be on the lookout for some beach pics!
