We had a busy 4th of July weekend. We went to the lake, the pool, saw fireworks, went to the Peach Festival and tried to relax in between. We did all of these fun activities with our good friends TSOBP. Carlilse is one of Henry's best buds and since they are only 4 months apart so they have lots of fun together! We started the weekend off by going on the boat and then going to the little beach area near the house so the boys could swim. They loved every second of the water that day. I think the lake had some sugar in it because we have never seen them so hyped up! After all of that play, they got baths, ate dinner and we watched the fireworks. Henry was not overly excited about the noise from the fireworks, but sat and watched them for 30 minutes! Since that night, he has told EVERYBODY about the fireworks going "boom, boom, boom." SO, he must have liked them a little.....
The boys just wanted to run into the water over and over again. The puddle jumper life jackets were lifesavers for us!!!
Carlisle thought it would be fun to put the sand in his hair?????
Here we are at the Peach Festival and it was interesting to say the least. We only stayed a couple hours because it was SO HOT!!! Everyone was drenched and exhausted when we left! They did have a ton of tractors kids could get up on and that was the highlight of the trip. They boys loved driving the tractors and thankfully they were in the shade for us. It was fun!
